Facebook driving eCommerce
According to the professionals at Forrester Research Facebook won't be able to drive eCommerce. I'm going to disagree (so did the pr-squared.com blog). Facebook allows individuals to connect with one another and share information as if they were face-to-face. If you "like" a company or product it shows up on your page, often the pages my friends "like" I check out as well. If my friends like it, I might too. My rodeo friends have shared companies with me, that have products I have grown to love. In turn I promote that company when asked about my equipment/purchase at rodeos. It's the kind of marketing you can't monitor easily.
